I've made every mistake so you don't have to.

I'm drift, analyzing markets since 2019. I trade breakouts, trends, and market structure, built a system that works for me, and I'm always fine-tuning it. Most of what I share now is stuff I wish I understood earlier.

Just a chart guy

The gist

Markets change, but a lot of the behavior doesn't. Trends form. Levels matter. Breakouts happen. Attention moves. After watching enough cycles, you start recognizing some of it earlier. That's what I'm trying to get better at, and what I try to point out when I see it.

Price first

I care about what price is actually doing. Indicators can help, but they don't get to overrule a chart that's otherwise telling a clear story.

Levels, not perfect lines

I mostly work with rough areas of support and resistance. They're places I'm paying attention to, not exact prices the market has to respect.

Trade the trend

I try to keep my bias in check and trade in the direction of strength, momentum, and structure. I'm much more interested in joining a move than predicting where one eventually ends.

How I Got Here

On the feed I'm just a chart guy. Here's the longer version.

I started trading crypto in 2019 with more confidence than sense. I went looking for a setup, a signal, some edge that would make it easy. Mostly I found ways to lose money and lessons I didn't enjoy learning at the time.

What slowly clicked was that getting better had less to do with finding more things to put on a chart and more to do with learning how to see what was already there. I started simplifying, paying attention to structure, reviewing my mistakes, and building a process that worked for me.

I've overtraded, overleveraged, gotten married to bags, listened to other people's setups instead of my own, and tried to be in too many markets at once. Most of what I do now came from slowly removing those habits.

A lot of that stuff feels obvious after you've been around long enough. It wasn't obvious to me when I started. That's probably why I spend so much time now pointing out the simple things that are easy to miss when everything is new.

Still learning. Still changing things. Just trying to make some of it easier to see along the way.

Where to find me

I share charts and whatever I'm watching on X. Most of my time, though, is spent charting, trading, building, streaming, and talking through markets with members in the Beacon.

The Beacon

A small paid community where a few of us trade crypto and stocks live: real-time charts, scans, scheduled streams, and a room where you can ask analysts anything and get a real answer.
